Sorry if I scared you! I’ve been stuck in the studio for so long, it’s been a while since I’ve interacted with people.

I’m a painter working and living in the city of Pittsburgh. I earned a BFA from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in painting and teacher certification. Since graduating, I’ve worked in the public school system and at my current job, Paint Monkey. I especially enjoy working and teaching kids and helping them discover talents they may not realize they have.

I’ve tried through my work and teaching to shatter the myth that painting is too intellectual or difficult for the masses. By using whimsical and relatable subjects, with dynamic compositions and bright colors, I hope my work can inspire others to pick up a brush and see what’s possible.
